Exhibition 2014-Literary Art
Under the transdisciplinary theme How We Express Ourselves exhibition 2014 was an amazing experience that I had with the students and TIC. Every year the exhibition process is always challenging not only for the students but also for the teachers. As a part of school community I do believe that I should be part of the learning and
celebration of the students’ achievement. The roles that I take during the
exhibition process is always changing because I want to experience the excitement with all the fun and obstacles for examples; as an usher, refreshment and
dinner, mentor, and performances. This year exhibition was challenging for me.
The trans-theme and the implementation took the literature work as one of the art work and our group was the only group which discussed about literary art. As a mentor, first impression that I had
from my group was their spirit to establish their idea, which for me is quite
difficult for children at their age. However their willingness to create their own story book which portray the condition of the environment, in this case saving water for the future, challenged myself to help them and guide them to fulfill their idea. There were a lot of stories and experiences that we had been
through for the last 8 weeks of the exhibition process. At the D-day it was an
amazing moment to see my students were able to explain all the learning process
by using their abilities and creativity.
