Introduction
Working with young, creative and innovative learners are always exciting and challenging. An outstanding and innovative school library performance cannot be separated from the active users. Therefore when we are talking about innovation and creativity nowadays it seems that we are talking about how to design and create an engaging lerarning environment where the students can test their own learning and understanding toward knowledge.
The idea of having Maker Space community in Sekolah Ciputra might be one of the answers which we, as educators, are looking for as a learning model where the students can decide, create, test, and reflect on their own learning journey. Maker Space, which is developed from STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) knowledge gives the pupils an opportunity to learn and build something from what they like. It accomodates the needs of different students with different interest to produce something meaningful for their learning and even might change the way of thinking or the way of life.
Based on the reasons above I would like to build a maker space community in Sekolah Ciputra where the students can learn, have fun, and reflect on their learning. In other words Maker Space will give not only the students but also the teachers a chance to learn about creative learning
